So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

How is the fit?

They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.

They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size

Is the comfort worth it?

They felt good almost immediately. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Plus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just slide in.

How do they perform over time?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How are they vs. other brands?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Next-level.

Would you buy again?

Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
