TOUR PLAN

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi Kenya / Baringo

Leave Nairobi for Lake Baringo National Park to arrive at the Camp / Lodge in time for lunch. You can have an afternoon optional boat ride to view the many flamingos on the Island. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

0730hrs: Leave Baringo after breakfast with packed lunch boxes for Maralal. Have a walk through the most colorful town of Maralal before proceeding to Baragoi via Isiolo which is on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

0730hrs: Breakfast then leave South Horr for Lake Turkana. Arriving for lunch at the El-molo campsite or Lodge, which is in the shores of the Turkana. Spend the rest of the day at leisure by the Jade Sea. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Campsite.

After Breakfast you will then have a mid morning optional visit to the El-Molo village at extra cost . Return to the Lodge/Campsite for lunch. Afternoon at leisure, fishing or swimming if the crocodiles permit. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Campsite.

Breakfast and then depart Turkana for Maralal with lunch enroute. Arrive at Maralal Lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the Lodge/Camp and then depart for Samburu National Reserve . The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve.

This Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness. Their story was made famous by the bestselling book and award-winning movie “Born Free”. The game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx. The elusive Kenya leopard is often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.

Other Kenyan wildlife present in Samburu park includes cheetahs and lions, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos. Birdlife is also as plentiful as wildlife at Samburu National Reserve, which boasts over 350 different species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others. The only park that you can find all the big five and small five.

All Meals and overnight at the Lodge.

Whole day in Samburu with game drives between the meals. With overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast at the Lodge you will return to Nairobi and dropped off at the airport for your home bound flight.
