Start your adventure in Samburu National Reserve, where you’ll experience the rugged beauty of the region and spot rare species like the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Enjoy thrilling game drives and observe elephants, lions, and cheetahs in their natural habitat.
Next, head to Lake Naivasha, known for its peaceful atmosphere and boat rides where you can see hippos, flamingos, and various birds. You can also visit Crescent Island for a walking safari to encounter wildlife up close in this serene setting.
Your final destination is the world-renowned Maasai Mara, home to the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration during the migration season. Experience morning and afternoon game drives, and witness dramatic wildlife interactions in one of Africa’s most famous reserves.

TOUR PLAN
Day 1: Nairobi / Samburu
Picked up from your hotel in Nairobi or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, briefed concerning your safari and the drive to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. Â .
Later you will have a game drive at Samburu National Reserve.
Samburu National Reserve
is one of the lesser-known national parks, but is nevertheless teeming with life. Situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains.
The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa Oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five). You will later return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Samburu
• Have an Early morning game drive.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast.
• Rest of the morning at leisure or an optional visit to Samburu Cultural Village visit.
• Lunch at the lodge
• Coffee or tea
• Take an evening game drive
• Return in the evening for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Samburu / Lake Naivasha
Breakfast at the Lodge then depart for Lake Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Country Club  After lunch you will then have a game drive at Hell’s Gate National Park plus below optional activities
HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK:
The park is famous for its hot natural geysers, spectacular looming cliffs and the “Hells Gate Gorge”. Visitors here may also camp at designated camp sites. Activities in this park also include rock climbing, bird and game viewing. OPTIONAL biking and boat ride also through the park. at extra cost
OPTIONAL Boat Rides – at extra cost
Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Naivasha with our popular and well versed Captain; Locally-born, the captain has a detailed knowledge of the bird life and wildlife in and around the lake.  The views from the lake are superb – the dormant yet smoking Mount Longonot volcano, the Aberdare, Mau ranges and a peek into Hell’s Gate. Try an adventurous picnic on Crescent Island, with a basketful of food and drinks prepared on order.
After a game drive at the Hell’s Gate National Park you will then be transferred to your Lodge for dinner and overnight. Traditional dancers display their talent during dinner time.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha / Masai Mara
Early bfter breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara National Reserve.
- 1300hrs – Arrive for check in and lunch at the Mara Keekorok Lodge.
- 1330 hrs – Enjoy your Lunch.
- 1530hrs – Coffee/tea at the lobby.
- 1600hrs – Afternoon game drive returning to Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration.
Return for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara
• Have an early morning Game drive.
• Return to the Lodge for breakfast.
• Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
• More game drives in the afternoon in search of more animals.
• Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 6: Masai Mara
Alternative 1.
Morning breakfast and exit the Lodge with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara National Reserve in search of the Big 5.
You will later return in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Masai Mara / Nairobi + Departure
Early morning game drive to return to the Lodge for breakfast then after breakfast, you will drive back to Nairobi for your homebound flight.
