TOUR PLAN
Day 1. Arrival in Arusha Town
Up on arrival at the Kilimanjaro International airport in Arusha, you will be picked up by our office Representative briefed concerning your safari and then introduce you to your driver who will take you to the Mt Meru Hotel for check in and overnight.
Hotel booked on BB(Bed and breakfast only).
Day 2. Arusha to Lake Manyara national Park
After a leisurely early breakfast at the hotel, you will then drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Marvel at the variety of species, spoonbill, teal, pelican, kingfisher, hornbill and cormorant. In the tall trees, forest monkeys leap from branch to branch on the slope of the Great Rift escarpment, elephants stand in the shade of the baobab. The most famous spectacle in the park are the tree climbing lion which spends most of the day spreading out along branches of acacia trees 6to 7 meters above the ground. The park is also noted for its numerous buffalo, elephants, giraffe, impala, hippo and great variety of small animals which can observe in the course a single day. The park is only 130 km away from Arusha.

Day 3. Lake Manyara national Park to Serengeti national park
Breakfast at the Lodge then exit the park with packed lunch boxes headed Serengeti National Park.
The name Serengeti is an approximation of the word used by the Masai to describe the area. The park covers 14,763 km² (5,700 square miles) of grassland plains and savannah as well as riverine forest and woodlands. The park lies in the north of the country, bordered to the north by the national Tanzania and Kenyan border, where it is continuous with the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Afternoon game drives at the Serengeti Park.
The Serengeti region encompasses the Serengeti National Park itself, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Maswa Game Reserve, the Loliondo, Grumeti and Ikorongo Controlled Areas and merges with the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya.
The Serengeti’s unique ecosystem and abundant flora and fauna have inspired writers, photographers and filmmakers and it’s not difficult to see why. Longest and greatest show on earth, the Great Migration takes place every year and is quite a spectacle to behold! Being there at the height of the migration is a never to be forgotten experience.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast you will take a full day game drive in Serengeti with picnic lunch boxes to get to the deeper Serengeti in search of the big 5 and wildebeest migrations.

Day 5: Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro Conservancy Area
Morning breakfast and then depart with packed lunch boxes for Ngorongoro Conservancy Area and crater tour visit.
Ngorongoro Crater: It is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthral visitors. It borders the Serengeti National Park to the north and west. A few hours drive to the east takes you to the town of Arusha which nestles at the foot of Mount Meru, within view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arusha is known as the gateway to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Northern Park.The main feature of the NCA is the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the world’s largest unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera. The Crater, which formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago, is 610 m (2,001 ft) deep and its floor covers 260 km² (102 square miles). Estimates of the height of the original volcano range from fifteen to nineteen thousand feet (4500 to 5800 metres) high.
Later in the evening you will then check in at the Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro / Arusha + Departure
After breakfast, you will then drive back to Arusha for your home bound flight.
