TOUR PLAN

Day 1: Tarangire National Park.

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your safari adventure begins. The first stop will be Arusha Town, where you can make any last-minute purchases before we set off. From there, we’ll head toward Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park as you explore its stunning landscapes. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. The park is also the heart of an annual migration, where up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras converge. After a day of wildlife exploration, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

After the afternoon game drive, which is expected to conclude by late evening, you will be dropped off at your respective accommodations for a restful and comfortable night at Fanaka Safari Camps Enjoy the tranquility of the Tarangire as you unwind in the camp’s cozy and serene atmosphere, surrounded by the wilderness.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we leave the highlands behind, we’ll descend into the heart of wild Africa – the vast Serengeti, with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. Our destination is the central region of the park, known as the Seronera area. This area is one of the Serengeti’s richest wildlife habitats, thanks to the Seronera River, which serves as a vital water source for the animals. As a result, it attracts a wide variety of species, offering a true representation of the Serengeti’s diverse wildlife.

You’ll arrive in time for a delicious lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the incredible wildlife and dramatic landscapes. After a day of exploration, you’ll enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay at the campsite.

After a relaxing morning and an early lunch, you will proceed to Ngorongoro. Our professional and experienced driver will guide you through Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater and explain en route the wildlife and natural beauty of Tanzania. The night will be spent on the crater rim. Your dinner and an overnight stay will be at the campsite.

Main Destination: Ngorongoro Highlands

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon, you will transfer to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay or airport drop-off.

After checking out, you will return to the Ngorongoro Crater, you will be transferred direct to the Arusha airport or Kilimanjaro Airport in time for your afternoon departure back to Zanzibar. We hope you have enjoyed your journey and have unforgettable memories with Across The Wild Safaris!
