Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Our chauffeur will pick you up from Arusha Airport and transport you to Tarangire for an exciting drive through the park. Rest assured, we have a delightful packed lunch ready for you! Tarangire is a remarkable destination boasting a rich population of elephants, impressive big cats, diverse birdlife, and majestic baobab trees. The presence of a river adds to the convenience of the resident animals.

For your evening repose and dining pleasure, we have arranged accommodations at the Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge. Relax and enjoy your stay!

Main Destination:
Tarangire National Park

Start your day with breakfast, then embark on a journey towards Serengeti National Park, immersing yourself in the vast plains. Renowned as one of the most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries globally, the Serengeti offers an unparalleled experience.

Enjoy an afternoon safari amidst the expansive landscapes, providing opportunities to witness the majestic herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, or catch a glimpse of lions lazing in the shade.

During the extensive game drive, a picnic lunch will be provided. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at Into Wild Africa.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, go on a morning safari in Serengeti National Park. Then, head to Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic lunch. It’s the biggest collapsed volcano crater globally, showcasing 14 kilometers of stunning natural scenery. The crater is encircled by extinct volcanoes, and its floor has waterholes where about 30,000 animals reside. Wrap up the day with a hearty dinner and a comfortable night’s sleep in your accommodation.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, go down into the crater for a 5-hour safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is packed with animals, around 30,000 of them, including some of Tanzania’s last black rhinos.

With a steady water supply and food all year, the crater is home to various animals like wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and big African elephant. It’s also a haven for predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards.

Have a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the late afternoon, head back to Arusha Airport to catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
