Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi Kenya / Samburu National Reserve
Picked up at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport in Nairobi by our office Representative briefed concerning your safari then introduced to your driver guide and then drive straight to Samburu National Reserve. The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve.
This Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness. Their story was made famous by the bestselling book and award-winning movie "Born Free". The game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx. The elusive Kenya leopard is often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.
Other Kenyan wildlife present in Samburu park includes cheetahs and lions, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos. Birdlife is also as plentiful as wildlife at Samburu National Reserve, which boasts over 350 different species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others. The only park that you can find all the big five and small five.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve.
Whole day in Samburu with game drives between the meals. With overnight at the Samburu Sopa Lodge.
<Day 3: Samburu / Lake Nakuru.
Breakfast and then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. One of Kenya's two Premium Parks, and is a birdlover's paradise, the park is rich in other birds life and a number of wild animals.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru / Maasai Mara
Breakfast and then depart for the highlight of your safari.
Maasai Mara (Masai Mara)National Reserve is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa's most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world's top safari big game viewing eco-system. Home and famous for the World's "Great Migration", one of the awe-inspiring natural events.
Make sure you have your safari book planned out that includes the Maasai Mara. I am sure you have heard the wildebeest migration is nothing short of amazing. It is one of the things you have to add to your bucket list. And best time to be in Kenya for it is JULY – OCTOBER.
Arrive in time for hot lunch and check in at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
Later on have an afternoon game drives at the reserve and return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 & 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Breakfast and then depart for the highlight of your safari.
2 whole days in Maasai Mara National Reserve with game drives between the meals OR Optional full day game drives with packed lunch boxes at no extra cost.
With optional balloon ride safari and Maasai Village visit. (at extra cost) All meals at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve / Nairobi + Departure.
After breakfast at the Lodge you will return to Nairobi and dropped off at the airport for your home bound flight.
